Aristide Hotel
Aristide is a restored neoclassical mansion in the heart of Ermoupoli—
a place with a cultured pulse and an unhurried pace.
A former Cycladic Tax Office, now shaped into a private-feeling cultural house by author and economist Oana Aristide.
Just nine suites. Five-metre ceilings.
An in-house gallery, and a permanent collection woven through the building—portraiture and figurative works that make the rooms feel lived-in, not staged.
At times, the hotel hosts resident artists and quiet exhibitions,
so the house keeps changing in small ways.
Above it all, a rooftop restaurant opens to the Aegean—
beautiful, yes, but never performative—
with a kitchen led by local, seasonal, organic ingredients.
It doesn’t feel like a hotel.

held, expressive, and quietly precise.
Reserved entirely for our group, Aristide becomes our base: a place that returns us to taste and to the parts of us that respond to beauty.
